After Hour Services: The college provides services for after hour emergencies by calling Campus Safety at (610)489-2737 or x2737 while on campus from 4:30 pm to 8:00 am, weekends, and holidays. Emergency facilities personnel are accessible via Campus Safety if necessary.
The Facilities Services department is committed to quality service for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This quality is achieved by anticipating and providing a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for everyone on campus. We strive to create a positive learning environment to enable students to obtain their highest objectives while receiving their education at Ursinus College.
The Facilities Services department will handle your request by dispatching the request to the appropriate person in the department. Emergencies such as utility outages, which could endanger the safety of members of the campus community, are acted upon immediately. All of the different shops generally have a backlog of routine and “special request” work.
When something breaks in your building, Facilities Services is here to help. The service response center is the hub of maintenance activities within the department. It is also a resource/information center, and it should be the first place contact by a student or an employ of the college with a question or problem regarding building or grounds maintenance. If you would like more information concerning work orders and other maintenance problems, please call the Service Response Coordinator at extension 2247. |
